Just got off the phone with Hooters. $500 CLI there. They made me wait quite a while, but there was no hard inquiry.

I opened up my Capital One last December and got my credit steps increase in March. Now, 6 months later, I got the nerve to call the backdoor number.

I talked to a really cool guy, and asked him for an increased. He said "Let me look up your account....whoa it says right here you are eligable for a $1500 increase, is that good enough for you."

I wish all CS could be cool like that!

Way to go, cowboy!

Kisses.

I'm not too happy with Target. I'm still at a $200.00 limit. This measley sum doesn't contribute to the 35% utilization factor as much as my other lines, so I'm going to simplify my life and get rid of this bad boy if I do not receive an increase next month.

Man I called Orchard (back door number) Had the first card for amount 14 months and got a CLI of $100 in April so today I got another $100 asked if I could get more..she said that's all the system gave me...took it at $15 pop. I haven't used both cards in months...so I guess giving me a CLI 3months after the first one is ok.

Called Orchard (back door number) to see if I could get a CLI on the 2nd Orchard card...had this one since 1/08 issued with a CL of $500, CLI in 7/08 $600 today 9/08 $700. The first man I spoke with talked me out of a CLI asked me to call back in 60 days...I called again the the lady was glad to give me the $100 for $10. Hey I'll take it. I don't even use both Orchard cards...have a balance of the 1st one $128 2nd $156.

Hmmmmm

I cannot stop smiling :cheesing: Capital One has never failed me!

I noticed a few days ago that my 6 months was up for a CLI on my Cap One card. The last CLI I got was 03/06/2008. I decided to wait a few days for my statement to cut... So, I decided to call the "backdoor number" and I got a very nice lady named Hillary and basically told her that I would like to know if I qualified for a CLI bc I only have $115 and need more available to have some spending power and incase of an emergency. She placed me on hold and I figured I would get $300-$500 and she bust out with your approved for a CLI of $2000 making it a total of $3250! Greatest feeling ever ;) Ive had the card since 06/2007!

This really helps out with utilization bcuz I did a balance transfer at 3.99% about two weeks ago that left me with only $115 available credit!!!! The statement before that was PIF and left to report with a zero balance! :cheesing:
