Just got off the phone with Hooters. $500 CLI there. They made me wait quite a while, but there was no hard inquiry.

Congrats Baystate! I feel the same way! Watch out for utilization on all of your cards though because there's a good chance that they will increase your interest rate dramatically. That's what they did to me and I BT'ed the balance to another card and now the BOA card won't see any usage until they fix what they broke. :cheesing:

Before you apply for anything else, let us know what you have so far and how many you have been turned down for this year. If you have too many inq's you are going to get denied by everyone including a TV guide.

Bank of America is awesome. I started out with a Plat Plus Visa in Dec07 with a $2500 CL. In May08, I got a CLI of $1000 for a total of $3500. I then called them in Jul08 and they upgraded me to the WorldPoints Visa. So today I called them for a CLI, 4 months after my last one and they transferred me to a credit analyst. They did a soft pull via EX. They asked me a few questions about my income and credit and then approved me for a $2500 increase for a total credit line of $6000.

Bank of America rules !!!

My background with BOA - been a customer since 1990, have my checking and money market accounts with them. I'm an intensely loyal BOA customer. Whenever I've needed anything, Bank of America was there for me. Every single time without fail. :cheesing:

I'm not too happy with Target. I'm still at a $200.00 limit. This measley sum doesn't contribute to the 35% utilization factor as much as my other lines, so I'm going to simplify my life and get rid of this bad boy if I do not receive an increase next month.

KellBell, how long have you had the card??? I got a CLI of $300 making $500 on my 3rd or 4th statement... Ive had the card since 04/2007 and havent seen another increase yet. I love Target and shop there alot so I couldnt let this card go ;)

I got rid of this card too for the same reason. The moment we purchase household supplies, BAAAM! our util is over the recommendation.

That's good to hear because Hooter's told me that I can not call in for an increase, they do them automatically. I too only received one cli since I had the card and it was from the 6 month mark.

wildrage2 what # did you call? and how long have you had your card? and is this your first increase? sorry so many questions but i have had my card a year next month and i have had only one increase which was at my 6 month mark (it didn't show up until the 7th month statement)

I've had my card for exactly 6 months, so this was my first increase. I called the number on the back of the card.
