Hey everyone if I apply for 4 accounts in one day is that all under the 14 day inquiry rule---stating that all items applied for will count as one inquiry within a 14 day window. Or is this the case for just Mortgages and auto loans
The three other banks will not see the inquiries if you do them on the same day, so if you are trying to skate that then it will work. But yes, there will be 4 inquiries as CG said.

I here you on the beemer and mercedes, but Acura??? Isn't that a step down from the other 2??? LOL
Acura = Honda with leather, Lexus = Toyota with leather, Infinity = Nissan with leather (although that G coupe is not bad).

Yup, that's it. If you apply for a 4 credit cards, those are 4 inqs. 4 mortgage or auto loan quotes (and you better hope the lender codes it that way) equals 1 INQ.

That was an allusion to my younger days when people got me into street racers. LOL. You're right though. I guess today, I'd replace it with an Infiniti or Lexus as they are more non-ricer(y).

If online bill pay existed when I was 18.....knowing what I know now, I would be 800+, driving my BMW 535xi, Mercedes S 500, and Acura that I would lease and alternate every 3 years. (I would never lease unless I owned a business though....it makes no financial sense for someone to "lease" and then give the car back). "oooo, I can get a different car every 3 years and perpetrate me a fraud......"

With regard to my question the easiest thing to do would be for BOA to just cut me a check for the credit balance and take the check back to the bank and pay off credit card (a). Thought I could just pay off one card with the other internally, but I guess not. Balance Transfer, nah............
What you may want to do, just a thought, is to use an Online Bill Pay. I had/have multiple credit cards myself and I find that Online Bill Pay from BOA is superb. I can pay a bill and it will be credited as early as next day (with BOA, same day). What BOA recently started doing with their bill pay, is that you can now use a checking account from a different bank (a non-BOA bank) to pay bills THROUGH BOA's bill pay. I started doing that with my mortgage. I have HSBC's Online Savings and Online Payment Account through HSBCDirect. I linked my accounts up and now I pay my mortgage from the Bush $7500 loan that I got, then replenish the account and repeat. I not only get to collect the decent interest, but I don't have to do what I used to do (wait three days to transfer, then pay). It truely is convenient. I even paid some CCs through that account and then replenish it later.

Have a credit card question]
[*]If I owe $100 on Credit Card (a) and have a $100 credit balance on Credit Card (b) can I pay off Credit Card (a) with Credit Card (b) ?
[/LIST]
You can do a balance transfer, but with BOA you'll have 3.99% interest on that $100 (unless you don't qualify for that promotion). Also, a lot of lenders look at BTs like they're cash advances (meaning they are discouraged and won't help your score).

That's a good question because majority of cc companies don't accept credit cards as payments. They only want checks, money orders, or automatic drafts from banks (like online bill pay)Have a credit card question]
