Those are actually good scores. Do you have any baddies? How many inquiries? How long is your credit history?
Follow this link for Bank of America]https://preapproved.bankofamerica.com/cc/SelfInquiry.aspx[/URL]
You will need to enter your information, don't worry it is a soft inquiry (only you will see the inquiry on your credit report). This is a good way to see if you are pre-approved for anything at BofA. Some other banks ofer this as well. I am pretty sure Capital One has this functionality.
I really wouldn't apply for anything though if you have too many inquiries.
hi,
i have heard about PRIME CARDS but don't know what they talking about? is this (prime cards) designed for good credit people only, or bad, or no, or problem credit people? thanks

if you have a security freeze on all of your credit reports then yes, they cannot pre approve you for anything.

i just tried amex pre-approved website this morning (7/15/2009) and received message: "We are not able to provide you with any pre-selected Card offers at this time" - did they mean DECLINE, or because i have SECURITY FREEZE on all of my 3 credit reports? thanks

I agree with you all! Your friend can be asking for the best credit card, but it is going to be hard getting someone a card with no credit. I cleaned this data base out trying to help someone who had no credit whatsoever, and I will tell you who gave them a chance (after nearly a million apps)
1. HSBC Mastercard (had to send in $19 or $29)
2. Bofa Secured
3. Macy's (that's only because HSBC reported to CB in time)
4. Mervyn's (Before it closed down)
Everything else was denied, denied, denied, for insufficient credit history on file. Good Luck! Alright Kiejon, you haven't been gone that long, even you should know that by now
I Know I have not been gone that long and he has insufficient credit history so we well start with a Bofa Secured
