I just noticed too, that both of my credit cards show as open current accounts on equifax, but on 24 month payment history, shows no data every month. both others show my payments every month on both accounts. does this mean i am also missing the points for on time payments with them too?
That is normal, sometimes if there is no activity the creditor won't update every month. It should not be affecting your score. But you do want to make sure that you are using your accounts every 3-6 months or the creditor could close it for inactivity.

Hi everyone. just got an alert that my credit report changed through my monitoring service. i pulled a new report, and saw that the new account that i opened at a jewelery store was now reporting. last month my scores were 515, 515, and 509. with the new account, utilization dropped a lot, and good payments on three accounts were also posted. my scores are now 543, 552, and 509. i wish they reported to equifax! since they dont report to equifax, is there any way i can get the new account on it too, even though they dont share info?
You know for a fact that this jewelery store does not report to equifax or you just think that because maybe they have not updated their tapes yet? Equifax is notoriously slow to update which is why so few companies use them as a primary bureau.

I have a Chase PerfectCard with a $2,000 limit and a Citi Secured Card with a $200 limit. I was wondering on which card I should give more usage. Knowing that Citi will be in business in the next 2 or 3 years, I would give my Citi Secured Card more usage and build a strong relationship with them.
Thing is if Citi survives this whole mess, they will treat me better as a customer than Chase. Chase is known for high interest rates and hard pulls for CLI requests. On the other hand, Citi gives CLI's every 3-6 months without a hard pull and gives you a chance at lowering your interest rate. I would say Citi is more of a customer favorite than Chase.
I have never had a problem with Chase or Citibank. In fact, my Chase MasterCard is 8 years old this year, about 7 years ago they changed my APR from variable 11.9% to 7.99% fixed and they have not touched it since (knock on wood). And when I had a problem with online account management, this guy from Chase called me and walked me through it-and he was American (or at least Canadian). Citibank will mess with your APR's over the years-but-they will do almost anything in reason for an established cardholder. I have always had my APR's reduced and CLI's when I have asked. Honestly, I have had more problems with BofA then any other issuer.
