Ok, so Ive been using my CapitalOne No Hassles Visa heavily and last month I had a minimum payment of $42. Well, this month its back down to $20 and I havent even paid the balance down considerably. Does anyone know why this has happened????? I was thinking maybe they lowered down the APR but when I spoke to a rep the other day he stated that the APR is still the same and that there was no offer to have it changed.
I did receive a letter about a month ago or maybe it was part of my statement which I thought was weird because I was Electronic Statements and NO PAPER MAILING. But it did say something about the way they are now calculating the minimum payments... I cant remember because I shreded it....
Maybe someone here also got that notice. I think it was on the bank of the statement.

Also, it sounds like you have applied for many new cards this year. You may want to give it 6 months before applying again-it could help your chances of being approved or approved for a higher limit.
Thank you both for the info, I will relaxe on my credit apps for a while and let the dust settle before i come out gunning again.

hello every one, Long time no hear, Well im back. As you may be aware of i was approved for a hooters card i just got it and its a 300 limit with a 72$ anual fee. Any way i thought the limit would be higher but ill take it becouse im still rebuilding credit. What i wanted to no is what is the next card i should make a move on ... I already have a green dot master card(200$ limit) orchard bank credit card(300) and a cash yes credit card (670$) and of course my New Hoot card for (300) i have called hsbc(becouse they are the provider of the orchard bank card i have) and they stated i have to wait untill march of next year before i can apply for another card. So with that being said i wanted to see who i should gun for next ..... Thnx for the help.
I agree with Meya. Try Capital One but you may also want to look into a retail card for a good mix. Macy's is awesome. Good luck.
