Some banks WILL report it at your request. I have read about it on other forums.

I called Chase yesterday again 08/04/08 but this time I approached the situation differently because last time, I got no where w/ the CSR so I just started w/ the basic question: "My CL is not showing on any of my CR and I want it to show" // I still had problems... I am really disappointed w/ Chase! I spoke to 5 diff CSR's and 1 MGR...

First CSR tried selling me Chase ID Protection after I told him my CR doesnt show my CL and I would like for it to report. Then he was to xfer me to the Credit Dept but he hung up instead[/quote]Second CSR had a heavy accent, I couldnt understand her, till she finally gave me the ph # and fax # to the Credit Dept and she proceeded to xfer me but oops! she xfered me to the automated system and the # she gave me was bogus! Here I go again... Third CSR thought I wanted a CLI even tho I said "My CL is not showing on my CR and I would like for it to report." so she said "Hold the line" (her exact words!) and boom I got a different rep... Great! Here I go again... Fourth CSR said that I was xferd to the wrong dept that I was speakin w/ the CLI Dept[/quote]Fifth CSR[/B] said that its gonna take 30-60 days for my CL to show. I told him how it was showing and poof its gone! I do see that, give me one moment" So he finally says that he went over his email? and sees that there was an error with the opt out procedure... He reversed the process and I should now have a plain vanilla Chase Freedom Card... Said it would take 7-10 days... Hmmm we shall see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Generally Rivas...the bank dont report Signature Visa CL because there is no pre-set limit...but yes there is, the reason they have these accounts are for ppl that charge alot of money and if they go over there limit they wont penalized them ie. rate chages over the limit etc or embarrased at the register. Now the bank have the discretion to stop you at your line of credit and let some purchases go through and some not.

The card also has alot of benefits here at BofA...myconcierge services- wow fancy

Got a CLI with Wal-mart again..up to $400 now


My grandmother in law has a $5k limit with them and its growing...she has had her Walmart account since 2001 and they give her 3 or 4 CLI's a yr automatically.

Does anyone knows if the Sears card have a luv button or how thy are with their CLIs?

We have had this card I'm sure over 8yrs or more and we have never had a CLI. In fact, we have also never asked for one and we have been stuck at $1810 from the beginning.

We don't use it on a every month basis, more so during their sales or around the holiday season.

Has anyone have a Sears experience to share?

Hey shark I have been a Sears cardholder since 2000 with my wife...im a co-applicant...before citi bought them out they use to run there own credit and would approve anybody...When me and my wife got this card we had I think a $450 limit...when citi bought the accounts they did a CL drop of $200 to the current line we have at $250...now when it was Sears Nat'l Bank that took care of this...they would literally let you go 6 months behind on the account...you make a conforming payment and they would let you charge again....trust me it happened to me...my wife had always been the responsible one but I was handling this account when we got it in 2000...well I was 18 young and dumb with credit so I bought a PS2 with it and some games and I paid them back when I wanted. Personally I would go online and see if there is a luv button... I think there is...I so rarely go to Sears.com that Ive forgotten my sign name and password lol.

but i have one that is not reporting as a Installment acc I thank its up to the bank how it reports
