No problem ColoNative! I love my Macy's, but I hate their statements. I was just talking to someone about your question because it is pretty scary to not be able to see your current limit online or a statement because you will never know if they decreased our limit and we go to make a purchase, "BAAMM" we are hit with an over-the-limit charge. No one has time to call cs and press 50 numbers before you reach rep, or listen through 7 options before you hear a balance/available credit:upset:

Ok my fingers are crossed for you

Hello every one im back. I just got my updated credit report and my fico score is now 574 . so its has moved up about 25 points.

Now the question i have is. I appl for the kay jewlers cc and the bloomingdales cc and after i applied they both asked me 3 sec questions(like they do on credit reports) but after that they said i will rec a letter in 20 biz day(application still under review)

Is this a good thing or bad thing ?? I mean normaly if your turned down they tell you write off the bat. But this was a little diff ?? Please shed some light on this for me every one.

When I asked Macy's this question, they told me that it was for security reasons. They don't even show us online. Why they are being that secured, I do not know. I just find it funny that you can go into the store, use your card, and no cashier asks me for my ID. In addition, I have "Please C I.D." behind all of my cards.

So I was asked to ask my question here instead of the review site:

My Macy's card statement does not show a credit limit or available credit for the account. Every other card I have ever had (except AMEX Gold) has a reference box for credit limit/available credit.

Is all of your Macy's statements the same as mine or does yours show this information?

I have a Victoria's Secret Angels card for only a few months. I have had no problems with them so far. Maybe in a few months I should ask for a CLI. Probably should do it around Thanksgiving.

Rick E,

Has anyone had dealings with WFNNB before?

I have an Avenue card through WFNNB that I received back in May 08. I have not had any problems thus far. But, I have applied for other cards that are backed by WFNNB that were denied.

hi i have a Peebles card from WFNNB for about 12 years now and i haven't had any problems either and i have also applied for cards from there and got denied (sis this was when i was a credit card addict). :white-flag: :embarrassed:

Well, I know what they are in basic terms, but is their approval rate the same as cards marked as "credit"? What about for people with no credit history? I just wanna learn more, knowledge is power! Thanks!

I have a few questions about the BofA secured visa. Does it report as secured? If so, does this lower my score? After the 1 year period, do they automatically double the limit? Ex. send in $500 to get started, when receive deposit back, does it stay at $500 or go to 1K? I have cards with Cap 1, but I really want to build my credit with one of the big boys to have a better rating. Please let me know! Thanks!

They did me the same way with Women's and Lane Bryant a few years ago. I did not trip, but I turned around again and applied with Lane Bryant and got approved. Lane bryant is now backed by Spirit of America but before they changed it was WFNNB. I think that the Avenue card is a rebuilder and the others are not. Do you have any baddies on your report or is too high in utilization?

Some banks WILL report it at your request. I have read about it on other forums.
