I was declined for a Capital One card last week I guess I'll wait a year or so to apply again.

Sorry to hear. Good that you have a plan though.

Congratulations on your increase. Now that you have 1.5 years under your belt, have you considered a card that will grow with you? You don't want to invest too much more time with First Premier. Check out Capital One if you have not already.

does anyone have that pen fed card? I was wondering what scores are needed, because they give you the cash back instantly..the way i understand it spend 100.00 in groceries and its 95.00 on your bill! amazing..

I've thought about it but I have not applied. I like getting my check from Citibank so I can use it the way I want to rather then have it applied to my balance. I know for sure that Pentagon FCU uses Equifax. Not sure what scores they require but generally PenFed has strict lending practices.

I know, but it take a lot longer than expected. Hopefully after this they will be consistant every 6 mths.....

Don't hold your breath on that one. They used to hit me on every 7th statement, then they began to slow it down. As long as they are not decreasing, I am not tripping.

From what I have researched in the past. I know that First Premier Bank is not the greatest card to have but we have to start somewhere. I have 2 cards with them a Gold $200 CL/Platinum $300 CL. I had the gold for a almost a 1 1/2 yrs and the plat for almost a year. They just increased my Gold card from $200 to $400.

See how patience pays off. Waaahoooo, way to go! They can make you mad by not offering cli's often, but you received more than what I do, mines comes in $200 increments.

I just almost had a small heart attack (lol, jk). I just logged into my Hooters account and of course after being with them for 14 months now. They finally gave me an increase..... Woohoo, I went from 500 to 800 CL, so it was a 300 CLI.....AWESOME!!!
