Went online to HC Credit to see if my order from NordiTrack processed. So I saw that they upgraded their site, and now we can ask for a cli as long as it is $500. If we need more, we have to call in. So I clicked the luv button and received a $500 cli for $20. I will take it and run with it...lolz! Went from $3500 to $4000.

Congrats on the CLI...

Brian I can feel your pain! Understand your frustration. The world of credit is like the fickle finger of fate today. Basically I don't trust the credit card issuers but they have the credit and I have the need. Their game. My mother always told me it is easier to catch bees with honey than it is with vinegar. Your frustration for having to get tough was NOT your desire. Unfortunately, the squeeky wheel gets the grease. Well you did what you had to! Nice job!!

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I get these days, we should all be happy for whatever we can get.....

Congrats on the AF waiver and CLI Brian! Technically, it's not a store card since it is a Mastercard.

WOW! Wells Fargo Financial Bank (non-bank) gave me an automatic credit line inrease and I had the card seven months! Line change $2,100 to $2,500. Starting to feel good about my credit. Sure learned alot on this site

Congrats! Every little counts especially nowadays...

Well, I finally got hit with my 79 AF on the BestBuy MC. So, I called up customer service, got transferred to an account manager and told her that if she didn't do something about the AF and give me a CLI, I was closing my account today. She said she could waive the entire AF and give me a 100 CLI at this time.... I am happy that I at least got that, but I told her that it wasn't right that I should have to call in and threaten to close my account to get that and I've been a cardholder for over a year with a clean payment history and never got an auto-cli. She apologized and said it was all she could do.... So, I gave in because no AF is still a win for me... I am now at a 550 CL (which is my lowest of any non-store cards)....

Excellent! The ball is back in your court.
