That lady didn't quite sound to intelligent regarding credit and utilization. You should have told her the truth and educated her since she doesn't know how to do her job right. lol!

You should have told her that you are a very qualified credit expert and you do know what you are talking about.
I'd probably smack myself in the head using that contraption. Weight training is the best way to boost your metabolism and jump start weight loss. You should have seen my muscles when I unloaded produce trucks for a living. I was buff!

Here is something weird. I wanted to order the Personal Trainer III from Noditrac to help with my toning right? OK, I have a balance of $500 with HC processing, they are the ones who financed my treadmill, my initial cl is $3,500. I really want the trainer but I also wanted a cli because I have not asked them for one in a while and they have not offered. Well, the rep told me, "Hone, you already have $3k available, why would you want a cli?" So I explained the situation about how i don't want my util being over a certain percentage.....blah, blah, blah. Do you now she had the nerves to tell me, "That does not make your scores drop and it does not affect your cr at all. I am not going to increase your credit with that much available I don't know where you got that info from, but it is not true!"
The first thing came through my mind was, "Be calm Meya, you heard option 4 when it stated ....If your account has been closed by our department due to the current economic crisis, press 4." So I bit my tongue and thought, "What the......lady do you know I am from FG! Where we are Kings and Queen of rebuilding credit and knowing how to........... and what will.......... Ohhhhh heck no. I just said, "Thank you and have a very nice New Years!" Then I hung up.
I am going to get the personal trainer because I believe it will help benefit me on my weight loss goals and will be much cheaper than starting a gym membership. Here is a pic of it, if anyone have it plesae let me know about it in this thread.

No, I was referring to the CSR that would think of that.

Called Best Buy Mastercard 2 days ago to cancel the card, only has a $500 limit with a $60 Annual Fee, 14.99APR. Had the card since December 2006. They offered to waive my annual fee this year and give a $600 credit limit.
I took it....for now.

I must agree with eugene66's decision to close out the first premier cards. Whatever hit he will take on his score, he is sure to recover and like or not, prime banks frown upon subprime accounts. They have served their purpose, now its time to move on to bigger and better things. No sense in holding on to dead weight.
yes that is why i was so ready to close them regardless because after serious job layoffs over the years and going from excellent credit to putting food on the table the choice was easy to make at the time you can always re-establish you credit.

Before you close your First Premier cards, make sure you have a decent length of history with the Credit One account. How old is your Credit One account? How old are your First Premier cards?
My first premiere visa i opened 6-1-2005 and i opened the credit one card 8 months later.the second one was opened in Sept 06 and both premiere cards have a 600 dollar limit but now with my reports finally clean of any derogs for the last 6 months,i believe it is time to move on.when i called first premiere to cancel the credit specialist told me not to close because of the history of my cards and said they would credit both my account 45 dollars(6$ program monthly fee) until my annual fees comes around and then make my decision to close them.so i acepted since i do not have to make a payment until then but i told them i wanted it in writing and i will recievea letter in the next few days.
