I called Macy's and asked for an increase yesterday morning. The nice rep put me on hold, came back and said that she can give me a increase that would take my limit up to $4,800 from $2,300. I thought I misheard but I thanked the rep for her help and hung up. I called the number on the back of my Macy's card and the automated system notified me that my available credit is $4,800. I almost fell to floor because I couldn't believe that I just had received a $2,500 increase.

I don't really use the card. I used the card last month for a $140 purchase and paid it off a week later.
