I just pulled my equifax report and noticed that household/hsbc was doing quite a few softs on my report last month so I decided to go to my household account and put in a request for a cli. so I logged on and put in for a 500 cli and pushed submit and was approved so now my total cl with my household account is 5k, the maximum cl for this card so they say......:innocent:

That is a huge increase for Orchard! I'm very happy for you! I have an Orchard card too. Would you mind sharing this "back door" number you have for them either here or in a private message to me??? I would really appreciate that!

I closed my Hooters account today, I have had this card for 10 months, I have always paid in full, and sucked up the $36.00 annual fee, but now that I am buying a rental property which has been my home for 7 years, I feel like I dont need it anymore, I called them today and told them either increase it or close it, well I lost, so to make a long story short, I am getting rid of the cards that dont stick by me, I am finding that Credit Unions and personal banks are the only ones left that truely still take care of their customers in good times and bad!

And I told Orchard Bank to take a flying leap too! I have two Capital One Cards $1000.00 limit each, and an HSBC Discover with $900.00 limit, thats good enough, like I said its just not worth it, I will keep my Kays, Jareds, Macys, Kohl's, JB Robinson, Monroe Tire, ect... as they charge no annual fees to have them

Congrats on the CLI's! Remember... take care of HSBC and they will take care of you. They are slow at first but it does get better! I speak with lot's of experience.

Congrats cassey346 and joeyman! CLI's during these tough times definitely make you feel special.

I asked for an increase on my HSBC Mastercard online for $500 and they approved it. It had been seven months since I opened my account so I was due for a CLI.

Wow! I just was reading over my online statement for my Elan College Rewards card, and found that my limit was raised from $1,000 to $1,400 without request. Also I never received notice... or haven't yet? Who knows, but I am happy.

Way to go Joeyman!:white-flag:I would care neither, as long as I got it...lolz!
