Credit Bureau pulls, try this Wells Fargo pulled me to open a checking and savings account, then they pulled me for a WF Visa Card, then they pulled me for opening a certificate of deposit. Note, I was already a customer...! Go figure or is this just plain ridiculious!!!
When I switched my checking and savings from a credit union back to a local bank they pulled one bureau (Patriot Act). They also gave me a LOC and a Visa Gold. Now, when I opened my My Access My Expressions checking account with BofA they only did a soft inquiry as I already had a Visa with them. I was kind of impressed with that.

More credit card happenin's... Citigroup as part of their restructure plan has determined they will downsize and take on more of a regional bank operational posture. They also are going to narrow their focus and specialize on the more affluent market for banking and credit needs.
Then they might want to open banking branches in other areas. For such a large bank, they are really lacking in locations. I was so ticked that Wells Fargo snuck in and stole Wachovia from Citibank.

Related to Colonative's Sapphire Chase Credit Card... take a bow. That is Chase's new "Black Card". It is the "cat's pajamas". Gotta lov it!! It is available only to the best of the best so they say!
Yeah, I saw their Sapphire, but mine is Slate. I guess Chase is getting rid of Platinum and renaming it Slate. It probably won't last. The letter they send states that I will receive my Slate card once my Platinum expires (9/10). Probably will go back to Platinum by then. The Blueprint is pretty cool though, it allows you to make a custom repayment plan. I always pay in full, but I could see it helping people who carry balances.
Cat's pajamas eh? LOL I have heard of the cat's meow, but pajama's is new. Funny visual.

After getting my household card, i enrolled in theire credit keeper to get my credit reports from all three, since i have been getting only one from my other credit cards service. i thought my scores were only around 520- to maybe 540. it said though that ex is 602 eq is 550 and tu is 577. i know those are not true ficos, but i still expected them to be much lower. how are those scores from credit monitoring and true ficos calculated differently? the biggest things that are hurting me at this point are inquaries and utilization, and also all the old collections and 2 charge-offs. inquaries will stop and utilization i am working on. my new account has not showed up yet either.
My Fako scores rarely budge from what they were over a year ago even though my FICO scoress have climbed by 80 points. There is no comparison, it may show you higher or lower than your FICO by as much as 100 points.
