Macys CLI from 2K to $2600, soft pull. So far Macys has been the most generous with increases in the sense that I can request one every 4-6 months and havent been turned down for one request yet.

Not much more but i will take it and continue to let it grow with me. Its kind of odd getting two auto credit line increases in a months time with Discover, maybe i ought to play the lotto this weekend:fun:

I didnt see where I could report this under the credit card section, so I am putting this here. Just approved for a Capital One Venture CC, initial CL is $5k (aside from a credit union CC) this is the highest initial CC limit I have been approved for with any bank. %0.00 purchase interest rate until 3/26/2016. This is going to bring my utilization down to 15% or less which will be perfect when I go car shopping. All credit cards I have ever been approved for with Capital One have all started with a $300 limit which I never ended up keeping because I found that to be more hurtful to my credit then helpful. Its good to finally qualify for a higher limit and an Excellent Credit Card with them vs. their average cards. Hard work and smart credit usage paying off for sure.

U.S. Airways Barclay CC Limit $2000 increased to $2500, less than 12 months old. This increase was given without a request. Logged into my account and noticed it yesterday. Would have been nice to see a bit more but nice it was given without having to request it.

Understand your findings. For me the best way to receive CLIs was to contact a CSR during normal M-F business hours and work with them for a credit limit increase using Soft Pull inquiries and it worked twice since 2011 ($4250+). Received one auto increase after six months of $250. Conservative!Discover it CLI 1000 to 1200

Discover it CLI 1000 to 1200 auto increase, have had the card a year. Discover seems to be very conservative. I guess all i can do is let it grow, maybe in the next few decades they will match my 10k cards

Replied by SAR1954 on topic New Credit Card - Local Credit Union - Low Interest Rate
I was recently approved for a CC with my local credit union is not listed on this site so I am writing about it here. My initial credit line is $5K, which allowed me to consolidate my remaining credit card debt. Interest rate is 10.2%, this card doesnt have rewards but it offers low interest, zero balance transfer fees and zero cash advance fees. I hope to see that lower over the course of the next year or so, but that is way better than the usual CC rate of 19.99 or higher. My overall credit utilization is down to 32%, in the next 6 months I hope to cut that in half.

Menards (DIY Store) CC Limit increased from $1k to $1500, online request. I have only had this account open for 3 months. I can also use this card at a local gas station. I only use it for that, gas in between pays and when I get the bill I pay it in full.
