Bramford, you are right. Maintaining a German car is always pricey. I have always been a fan of Toyota truck because of their bang for the buck and the quality you get out of their vehicles. I am hoping to lease a LS460 in a year or two when I am 21 years old and step-up my grown man game.

Bramford, no offense but you got ripped off. You can lease a BMW 5 series for that price. The Acura is a great car but the Japanese will never be able to match the engineering and quality of German engineering.

Hi HJM. I have owned a 328i BMW in the past, and all I can say is that the maintenance cost of a BMW is very expensive. Every time I took the car in for service I payed anywhere from $500 to $1500 or more. One time when I had to change the radiator it cost me $5800. However, in the case of the Acura cars that I have leased, I have never spent more than $500 when I took them in for service. Furthermore, Japanese cars such as Acura and Lexus hold their value better than German cars such as BMW and MB.

That's exactly what I was saying. If you are offered the CLI, they shouldn't charge you a penny.

Oh i forgot to write that. I did ask if there was a fee and he stated that they dont charge if youare eligible for the CLI.

Cireone, make sure there aren't any charges for the CLI since they offered it to you. If you asked for it out of the blue, then that would be a different story.

I have a Rewards660 for a year already. They have helped rebuild my scores. So Ive been noticing on my statements that it said to request for my CLI. I called to inquire about it and the agent wne through my account with me and stated that I was never late but didnt make any major purchases with the account (Cl is $300). So I asked if I would be getting a CLI and he said yes and it will show up in 48 hours in my account. I guess they only do $50 increments as thats what he could only give me. SO Ill be looking out if it was actually increased and keep posted.

I would not trust that if I were you. GEMB will set your behind up quick, they did me like that with the Sleep Number account and I went to the left on their behinds until they cleared it up. DONT DO IT!

HJM331, was this one of your oldest credit cards or do you have ones that are older or the same age?

From what I have seen, your $500 seem to be one of the higher ones from Orchard. I started with $400 for 2 yrs and then last month, I got them to give me a $100 CLI at a cost of $10 which when I use, they would promptly charge me interest.

What a scam!
