seperate ourselves from the competition by providing GREAT customer service which includes talking to the customer with curtosy, etc.
This is an good strategy for staying in business. Nice job hjm331! Once you run away from business, you practically admit that you are a failure. I am pretty sure that where you opened you business Killian, that area was functioning as a free-market enterprise. Don't ever give the next business a chance of feeling like a monoploy business becasue you only give them power. What you should have done was researched to see what could you have done to keep yourself competitive in the field of videos. Business individuals have to have a plan.
There is no such thing as only plan A or B because Plan z might hold the key to success. A contengincy plan must be inforce in order to keep a business running. It is going to get rough at times and you and your friend (as onwers) will encounter losses in your revenues, but that is ok, because that is the way the business industry goes. This is why I stay focus on my saying of] If you fail to plan, you plan to fail[/b]

seperate ourselves from the competition by providing GREAT customer service which includes talking to the customer with curtosy, etc. We also send out a lot of postcards and prices and we offer very competitive prices since we buy our motors for wholesale price. This might not be the same business at you, but if you use the same practices as us, I'm sure you will be successful. Remember, it's not an overnight thing, so it's going to take some time but you have to keep providing great customer service all the way.

Oh guess what? They are in your credit report every month. When I change something in my credit report, they always send me out a new one and I see that cap 1 and a few others are making soft pulls on me. Some are out looking to see if you have defaulted on another creditor so they can jack you up for the default or universal rate. Cap 1 don't penalize you for the first 2 in twelve months, but they did not say that it will not go against you for a limit increase either. Keep up the good work! You are on the same trial I was on.
What does it mean to default?
What's a universal rate?

You can! I went from $300; 90 days later $500; 9 months later $2500. I should be ready for another in a few months or so. I seen your posts from the response to Diva, my advise is to not worry about cap 1, if you have been paying well with them, they will grant you a blessing very soon.
Ya I don't have any late payments nor gone over the limit (knock on wood) lol I went from $500 to $750 in 90 days also. I just hope they don't check my credit report right now. lol

Hey guys. I'm also thinking of starting my own business but taking over my dad's business and expanding it. What's a good credit card to apply for to starting building business credit card history? I think this Capital One is a good one. Check it out Meya!
I have heard about the amex blue cash

Checked other credit boards and read about this one

Although we do not have the hsbc business cards, there were a few articles and credit boards speaking of this
http://www.us.hsbc.com/1/2/3/business/cards?code=husa
Since I am not a fan of Citibank, I am not going to speak bad about them but, their business cards have been bragged about "approvals" on many occasions. Take a look over those sites above and let me know what you think. As for your posting, its seems like you already selected the best card. I do not posses a business card, so I don't know much about them. That would be a great thread to discuss here. I really hope that someone come forward quick so that we both can learn from it.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for the link Meya. I already have 2 accounts with Capital One and they're one of my favorite cards. I just hope I can get a CLI with them. lol

Good Terms with Loan Officer and if you have had prior business loan with the same bank which you have paid does help.
I am no longer in that business, got burnt by partner.
Beauty salon is a good business. If you have the skills and not going to rely on employess you can make it.
Wish you best of luck in your new business.
