Pam, wait for this month's statement to close because companies who only give automatic CLI's usually issue CLI's every 6 months. If you don't see a CLI, then I would give them a call.

Replied by Meya on topic We dont want to go
We dont want to go there with the worst typing because I will fall in first place sis...lol.
Anyway, I don't think it is looking too good for her. She called in and they told her they will send a response by mail. But here is the good think, cap1 gave her $300, dillards gave her $150, and she now has the Orchard Mastercard on top of her Orchard Visa. Travelocity turned her down and so did Amex. She is waiting for a response from Macy's, Jcpenny's, Mervyn's, and Walmart. On those GEMB cards, I told her not to get her hopes up high because when you see the 24-48 hr response and the letters (for example) WKP227785, that is a huge sign of a NO NO!
Basically, I am getting her away from the Tribue and First Premiere cards. She is starting to have problems with them already, I told her in the beginning what to do and what not to get but, she did not listen. Hard head makes soft behinds right?

Replied by Meya on topic I could view my account
That is a trip, I just tried it and it worked....lol. But still in all NMB can keep on walking. See how we learn something new! If anyone wants to try it here is he link. I made sure it was safe before entering any new info, and all you have to do is click "see my credit card accounts." I wouldnt go as far as the security question.I could view my account information (HOOTER'S) on the New Millennium Banks's website

Thanks for the clarification. It's just weird because I could view my account information (HOOTER'S) on the New Millennium Banks's website.
I would NEVER do unsecured cards, I'd rather run without credit than be "red" flagged like that. Is it the norm for a company that owns half of another companies shares, to disclose your account information on the other parties website log in?

Porgy:
I hae to agree with Porgy all the way Adicus, New Millennium Bank does only deal with secured cards. If they take over Merrick Bank, I am gone for sure. When I first strted applying for credit cards agian, I used to always see them at the bottom of the page after all unsecured cards were shown. They have a nice unsecured look but nope, you must put your bread up first. Beeeeewwaaare!
I take it you watch that "Justice with a snap" or "Not in this court roooooom" Judge David guy. hehehehehe... I do too.tomato tomoto LOL

Just found out that New Millennium Bank now owns Merrick Bank. I have heard of terrible reviews regarding New Millennium Bank. Does anyone here have experiences with New Millennium Bank?

Replied by porgy1000 on topic Actually banks want you to
Actually banks want you to use your cards, go over your limit, pay late, etc etc etc.
Just think of how much more they get to charge you if you do any of those things.
BofA now reports on you several times a month. Every time your balance in a month goes up by 10% of your credit limit, they will re report.
That is why I stopped using them this month and WHAM higher credit scores.
Banks just think up ways to make the most money that they can from everyone. The more they can think up ways to s***w you the better they like it LOL

Yes, I understand, but now that I stopped using my BofA cards this month my Fico scores went up almost 50 points.
Banks give you credit cards, but if you use them, they lower your scores so they can charge you higher rates. Makes you wonder, eh?
