hi i got a increase on the 6th month of having the card and it was automatic. I went from 1000.00 to 1200.00 and i think my next one will be in Oct. so good luck!! hope this helps:relieved:

From what I've heard, don't dare ask for an increase prior to having the card 6 months. I'm not sure if you need to request, if they do a pull, or if it's automatic.

From what I've seen, it isn't a huge CLI either. Maybe $250. It looks like they are more generous with initial limits then with CLI's, unlike Capital one, who is less generous with initial limits, and much more generous with CLIs.

Last night I called Hooters to see what you need to do to qualify for a CLI, she told me I could ask now... (with a Hard Pull). I said no thanks. Anyone had a CLI w/Hooters...please share your experience

Rick_E, do you have any other credit cards than the three that you mentioned above? By the way, the Capital One and Hooters Mastercard credit cards are great cards to build your credit with. If you can tell us your limits on the cards you currently have, we can help out by telling you if you should apply for more credit or not. Applying for more credit hurts your score but if you are not going to apply for any loans or mortgages in the near future, you don't have anything to lose.

I'm new here, and just started rebuilding credit last year. I got a 1st Premier Visa last November and recently got a CLI. Last month, I applied for a Cap One MC and got it. I was reading the posts here and googled HOOTERS MASTERCARD and applied online - boom! Instant Approval.

I'm not sure what's going on here, but my scores aren't really that high. My VT Score is 685 and Fico is between 620-670.

Goodgirl, they gave me the basic info over the phone (eg. cl, & apr). I dont know why they did that to you unless they are changing rules. Try and call back. like hjm said maybe it varies from cr to cr. That person must have been upset that day and we all know that is not a way to treat or talk to customers. Without us they woul not be working there.

I heard that Hooters gives auto-CLI's every 6 months. It's worth a try though, you don't have anything to lose.

First time i called, they said app still under review...second time same thing...third time...approved. I guess if your're denied or approve....they well let you know. the CSR did not tell me the limit though. Hey, i just went on my account online....they have a phone number to call for a CLI...has anyone called and got an increase? I'm coming up on my third statement and wanted to ask for one once i paid it.....please advise..

I believe if you applied online ti was suppose to give you a number to which you cna check your app status. That is how I found out I was approved only after almost a week.

They won't provide any account info for your own protection. I'd just wait until the card comes.
