Dont worry yoyo its only a soft pull from Experian.
i use the site to see if my card offers are getting better from time to time, i am seeing less and less offers from sub prime banks and more from better ones.
and as far as the info you give here is what they have.

i would apply for Capital One and Hooters. I would keep the Orchard card but drop First Premier imagine 500 and the Salute 650. With those three you are paying out money that you would not have to pay with the Cap 1, hooters and Orchard

I would apply for a Capital One and Hooters card. If you don't get approved for their cards, I would just keep the ones I have and keep making on-time payments and let positive history increase your FICO scores.

AS long as you did not give them any personal info, you are good to go. But the only thing that scares me is, if that is the only info that they needed from you, how was they able to see what type of card you may qualify for? Do the PC put your name and address together and come with a ssn? Or do they just function like out site by searching for cards according to credit status you provide? I like the way FG has the score tracker, it only goes by the credit status you provide, not asking for names or ssn's. When someone need your name or address to see what type of credit you may qualify for, shut the browser down because I don't trust that one bit.
Sorry for the late posting, it just caught my attention, I guess I over looked this one. But you know I am always here when you need me.....lol!

I guess you can't keep your word long. You just applied for Wamu....lol:laugh: I swear, I don't even think I would want them many credit cards. Nearly every card you named, I was denied from them. I was reading where you said you have your bank to alert you of a payment 5 days prior to billing, I think you should make it at least 10 days before the statement comes out because sometimes payments are delayed. Lord forbid the weekends that you have to count. That is pretty pushy, don't you think? No More Apply For Me I Got All That I Need

That probably means that I am going to have to wait a year and a half before I can think about another credit card.

I can speak on both sides of the Inquiry ordeal. I've experienced having been denied credit due to "Too Many Inquiries" and that was THE ONLY reason listed for my denials. (note all inquiries within 12 months, some up to 11 months old yet the creditors still looked at them as a negative).
I've also been approved for credit DESPITE the hard inquiries reflecting on my credit file, only because I had 3 things to help destract the lending bank, such as Low utilization, payments all on time, multiple account types, that sort of thing. So every now and again, I will get denied based on too many inquiries. I applied for Nordstrams in April of 2007...DENIED MS.COLE---to many inquiries from 2006, Nordstrams ususally dont like to see inquiries within 6 months and not more than 3 or 4. So I can attest that these banks criteria sway back and forth on what they are willing to risk before granting credit.

Inquiries factor as 10% of your FICO score..
Well they took a whole lot away from me when I went on a credit benge. I was knocked clean back to the 590's from 640's-660's. Oh wait a minute, that is 10%.....I think I am going to have a hard tiem in Math this semester
Ps, excuse the edited by Meya on this quote, I accidentally clicked edit instead of quote. I think I am tired from this weekend

Yoyo, it wouldn't really matter because you would be building a new payment history and that's what lenders look for, consistency.
I hear ya:embarrassed:

Hey YoYo thanks for the advice on calling in to BofA.
If you haven't, please look on page 9 of this thread. I posted the entire scenario regarding this BofA offer. Tell me what you think or if any of this was your experience.
Thanks.
From what I've read Yendor...BoFa reports as a secured card of your CR. I believe Citibank and WaMu doesn't.....let's us know your outcome!!
