For those of you who have a vehicle the CFNA credit card from Firestone is easy to get. I went to Firestone and purchased 2 new tires and I applied for their credit card and was approved for $1600. That should look good on my credit reports with FICO. When I look at my credit report Equifax and Transunion they reports my credit limit, but Experian only report the balance. I went to the Experian website earlier and asked them to put the credit limit on my report, I'm not sure if they will because reading other message boards other people writes that Experian didn't put a credit limit on their report. Not sure if it really matters that Experian report my credit limit since they no longer a partner with FICO. CFNA offers 90 days interest free. Its a 21% interest rate. My balance will be paid off before the 90 days are over.
Who is the backing bank? Firestone is right by my house and I get work done their all the time. I never thought about a CC from them. What is your CS and how do your reports look (if you dont mind me asking)?

Also, if you have any specific credit cards you would like to add to the data base, follow this link https://www.financeglobe.com/Finance/creditcardrequest.php I know that the card would have to be available in at least 5 states before FG will be able to add them. Hope this helps!

Hmmm, I will let the site owner know about the issue. But in the mean time, follow this link https://www.financeglobe.com/Finance/Poor+Credit-Needed-Cards.php
ok thanks. I checked this link out, but I wonder why capital one isn't listed here.

Thanks so much Kellbell, I forgot about whogavemecredit.com. Also, let's not forget to plug your scores into FG's Score Match, it is also a good way to stay within your means or qualifications! https://www.financeglobe.com/ScoreMatch/
Credit card statuses is really cool also, check it out https://www.financeglobe.com/Finance/credit-card-status.shtml
My score is 599, I went to the above link to put my score in and there were no matches. My BK was discharged in March2009, now I'm trying to rebuild my credit. I guess I'll try the capital one

Experian is no longer offers its FICO scores via myfico.com, at the same time lenders pull from EXP. Fico score.For those of you who have a vehicle the CFNA credit card from Firestone is easy to get. I went to Firestone and purchased 2 new tires and I applied for their credit card and was approved for $1600. That should look good on my credit reports with FICO. My balance will be paid off before the 90 days are over.
To the best of my knowladge, only Kohl's uses Vintage score (experian product) and Prosper.com uses Plus score (exp. product again)
Again to the best of mine knoladge the only place to see Exp. FICO score is Alliant FCU (membership benefits, update every 90 days, free service)
but Alliant gives FICO NextGen 2.0 score, which is as useless as any FAKO score.

Yeah Hooter's is a trip when it comes down to the homeowners, I have heard a few people in here turned down because they were homeowners, I guess they foreseen the crisis of those loosing their homes. They probably thought, if our cardholders loose their homes, they could not give a flying "Hoot" about paying us.

RE]
Hi Meya! I am new to FG and I have so-so/fair/pre-average credit, I am on the repair wagon with most of the members here. I recently purchased a home, about 2 months ago, and have been SCARED to get any credit LOL I also, didn't have the greatest credit when I got the home, I had almost fell out when I was approved for a home! It was the most tedious experience of my life but I had lots of diligence and patience. I had to pay down some debts and get a lot of things disputed/settled off of my credit.
Long story short, I found this site and was trying to figure out how I can get a credit card with a really nice limit other than the poor credit cards that I have...I tried for the Kay's and they approved me instantly online for $3000!! I minimized the screen in disbelief and opened it back up like NOOOOOOOO not ME??? I have no clue what to buy, or when to buy but I am very happy that it is a card worth having! Kay has beautiful jewelry and I am a LadyDon! I prob, should have put this in a PM to you huh? LOL Well heck everyone can read my story! I love the helping support I have been reading from everyone so far and just had to join in on the fun!
~~~~Okay anyone have any great suggestions for me!~~~
Meya, I am staying away from HOOTERS per your request on the Homeowner thing! Thanks for the tip!
did yall know that you can have up to 5 Captial one cards?
well you can and i kinda put it to the test
heres what i did, last month and i should not have but i got a second card from cap1 and it was the plan cap1 plat with a 500cl so what i did was combine that one with my oldest cap1 card and that got me from 1000cl to 1500cl that was done this month around the 5th so tonight i called the backdoor number to see if i could get an cli but i was told they did not have an offer for me at the time so i started asking things about the bank it self and was given some sweet info and the rep told me that its not often told to card holders but you can apply and have up to 5 accounts (cards) with them and that each card has its limits on how high the cl would go no matter how long you have had the card so i started thinking maybe this is as high as the card i have is going to go cause when you apply for a card cap1 uses the report they pulled when you got the first card so if your score changes (like me 516 to 683) or your income is much higher they will base how much they will ever raise your limit from that old report (so if you got your first card 4 years ago that same info is used as a base to factor how you will get cli's. so i asked her if i just got a card not even a month ago could i apply for one better than what i have and she said yes as long as you dont have over 5 accounts and she checked if there was still active records of the card i just combined and she said no the system shows one card one account so there i was looking on my screen at the cash back rewards card and thinking what if, so i said the hell with it they can only tell me no and boom approved:cheesing: 500cl yes its low so i called back to get some info cause i was thinking i could have gotton more and i was told just hang in there cause its the starting limit for there prime cards and my head almost poped and i asked do you mean optimus prime or do you mean prime like the top cards and she said yes the top level cards so i was like ok thanks. sitting here smiling thinking this is the best 500 limit card i ever had.
Hey, I don't know if you remember this or not, but remember when I told you that old threads can be brought up to date? If you see a posting that is old, the best thing that can ever happen is YOU bringing it back up to date. Here is the link that explains it all: https://www.financeglobe.com/SocialNet/forum/showthread.php?t=532 Just scroll down to the bottom.
The same thread you started today can be buried by tomorrow. Trust me, I kid you not! NO postings goes unnoticed, they all pop up in "Unread Forum Posts" to your right
>[/B]
If you found this thread, then you can clearly see how it happens. Try one for example. Find a thread that has not been posted on in months or a year, type a letter and see what happens next. Of course when you type it, you can not see the new posting because you brought it up to date, but the next person will see it and when they respond, you will be able to see it.
I know you are familiar with how to post new topics vs post reply, if you did not see the postings about it, here is the link for you also.
1. https://www.financeglobe.com/SocialNet/forum/showthread.php?t=532
2. https://www.financeglobe.com/SocialNet/forum/showthread.php?t=607
The only posts that I do not move are topics that are not duplicate to another (or are not very similar to another). Other than that, you are free to do what you want. If I was to let this stay, then I will have duplicates all over the board. I try to keep it organized on a daily basis, its hard, but it can be done.
Sorry bro, but you know I still got luv for ya!
