Smcc, that is truly a blessing. My comment was made directly towards materialistic individuals. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

That is two different stories waaaay different. That is life, a blessing, and an a cured illness. He did not rip off society for it, he did not put anyone down for it, and for one thing, he had an experience with life that gave him the heart to appreciate what he has, and not think he is better than no one else. We only get one life, and it should be the first thing you worship (besides God).

Ps, if that organ saved his life, he better brag on it. I know I would.

Hold on hjm331 and Meya, you might want to define "bragging". What about the person who needs an organ transplant, receives the transplant and then brags about his new organ, the ability to continue his life, to continue to take care of his family and to enjoy the blessing that God has bestowed upon him ? Isn't he too bragging and at the same time giving thanks to God ? Is there insecurity here ?

Let me make this short and sweet. Those who brag about their belongings contain insecure feelings.

I don't say nothing to her, in fact, I don't even deal with people who think they are better than someone else. I hate people who try to live like the Joneses but all the time they are ripping tax payers pockets out by falsifying injuries to get workman's comp, or government assistance. It's one thing to have a down fall, but to do it because you are lazy is another. I can't wait till she get caught, I will just send her "I told You So" letters & cards to prison.

They are stingy and play broke....lol. Nah, I have a cousin who moved from Modesto, CA to move to East Texas so she could purchase a $150k motor home and live luxury. Well tables clashed on her and now she wants to come back home. Stuck! Why, no one down there can afford to purchase that house on wheels, or even want to purchase it for that value. She tried to make everyone think she was rich, now she is down there living worse than the ones she tried to impress herself in front of. That's what she get. She could not afford to live out here, so why go down there just to pretend like it?

Omg, I couldn't stop laughing :cheesing:. I have to agree with HJM, there's nothing luxurious about a motor home, what was she thinking, geez. Meya, I hope you tried to talk her out of that and she just didn't listen. Dang.

What a dumb nutz, especially when you can get a brick three bedroom two bath two car garage house in Dallas/Ft Worth for $150K. It is the most undervalued real estate market in the country.

Because where she live at, those people houses are sitting on bricks and cave in when you walk through the house. Those houses are raggedy and beat down. If you put a new tool shed by them, they would be like, "Ooooh my God, did you see that new home Meya purchased?"

Why did she think that people would be impressed by seeing her living in a motor home? That's the funny part.
