So I guess a person with a $200 stick-it-to-me cl will have to max their cards out 5 X's in order to get a 10% coupon.:The only perk is after spending $1k, you get a 10% off coupon...which automatically excludes half of the store.
When I had my card with Target, I used to use my debit card because I would end up spending more than what my target limit was.

I shop at Target to get common household items, but not enough to merit having a card from Target. AND if I did use that card, I could easily spend $200 and be at 50% utilization. The only perk is after spending $1k, you get a 10% off coupon...which automatically excludes half of the store.Ditto! You know I can not stand Target

I am so freakin over target. I have applied for their card 3 times already and they keep denying me. I don't know why I am fighting for their low CL, I think its just trying to prove to myself that I can get the card. I applied for them a couple of weeks be4 xmas and nothing. I get a letter in the mail and the only reason why I was denied was "too many recent inquiries." Have you gone mad? I have had 2 inquiries in the past 90 days (experian) and 8 in the last 12 months. And the messed up part is, in the past 90 days both inquiries were from them. What a joke!!!!
I wouldn't worry about them. It looks like they are trying sell off their bank division anyway. They aren't giving CLIs and they will probably stick you with a $200-$400 limit.

If so.... Do you know if the Target Red Card reported to the AU's Credit Report????
I added my younger brother, so he could piggyback and start building his credit but when I called I was told it wasn't going to report unless he was a Joint Cardholder...
I just wanna know cause if it isnt gonna report then Ill just remove him, but im still gonna wait till the next bill closes and check his CR just to make sure. I just dont want it to end up on my Father's CR because they have the same name except my brother is a JR.

-Hello all so I was just on another credit site and people were complaining about how stingy target is with their CLIs. Another poster posted this link that may explain why they are not really seeking to give increases.
