All of a sudden I'm seeing ads for stores that want to help you spend your IRS rebate/stimulus money. Safeway here in the Northwest (and probably everywhere else) has an ad that they will give you 10% off your purchase if you cash your check with them. Anybody else seeing these ads?

Yes, I believe WalMart and Best Buy jumped on the rebate bandwagon. WalMart has said they are offering the service free of charge, and no purchase necessary. Obviously they think that if you get your check cashed there, you'll stay and shop.
