Very open with him and ask him a TON of questions. Make sure you fully vet him. Don't be afraid to ask dumb questions either.

My grandparents have gifted me with bonds in the past for birthdays and such. I need to learn more about them beyond what I've read in the brief Kiplinger articles. Hope it goes well, Lexie.

I have done just that FrankN. I have an appointment on Monday with a financial advisor just to see where I need to go from here. I've never done this before so I don't know what to expect. Any ideas?
