Ok sis, put a sock in it.
You already has the process, this is for those who are not aware and for newcommers. geessh, calm down before your blood pressure arise. You are an OG here, and you know all the ropes. Same goes for you Hjm331. We know no one is perfect but this is just a heads up. By the way, Porgy and I are sending you mailbox messages to help us out with this, is it ok?

Thanks alot Porgy!
Ok here is where I think the problem is, there are too many posting here with "New Topic" that should just be added to the "Lounge" as a continuance posting. Newcommers don't get me wrong, we want you to post as much as you want but please, before you post your topic, take a look at the main forums and see what your posting matches under. Here are the main forums:
1. The Lounge
2. Bank Specific
3. Credit Cards for good to great credit
4. Credit Cards for poor to fair credit
5. Credit Histories and Credit scores
6. Building Credit
7. Debt and Bankruptcy
8. Identity theft and Fraud
9. Investments
9. Mortgages
10. Students
11. Small Business
12. Other loans
13. Other topics
14. Financial Globe Lab
Each one of these forums has subtitiles where people can add New Topics that they feel newer info should be added along to what is currently available, and it will be a long and intersting thread. If you already have info that you would like to say because you saw an interesting post, just click "Post Reply" and it will follow the previous posts. Regardless to when someone has posted the last response, your new posting will pop up in the most new posting on the board under "View Unread Posts" it does not go unnoticed.
The lounge, as you can see, is where heavy traffic postings are, that is where we joke around and just chill. If you want to talk about the weather, your new car/house, a friend who made you mad...etc, go for it. It does not make a difference where you put it, someone will read it. Also "Other Topics" is another place where you can add "Other financial topics" which are not related to the main 14 fourms.
When someone has posted under a main fourm, please feel free to respond as many posting as you like, but when you want to ask a question that is not related to what the main thread is about, go to the lounge and post it, trust me, it will be answered. This is why some postings are re-routed or deleted. It's no offense, it is just that the postings becomes unrelated and make the thread waaay toooo long. When members come in, the first thing they do is go to the 'Unread Posts" to see the latest postings, they respond, or just skip and go to the next one. Most of the times, many of us just go through past postings and may decide to pick up from there, that is why you see a posting that was originally made (for instance) Sept 29, 2007, had a response on January 23, 2008. Furthermore, this is how the newcommers were able to respond to a previous post, YOU browsed the board, WAY TO GO!.
Basically the main reason for Porgy to bring this to our attention is that there are way too many NEW postings in the wrong category. So please, let's match our postings to the appropriate thread. And whatever you do, please make a note of the difference between NEW TOPIC & POST REPLY they are a HUGE difference. As you become familiar with the board, you will know when it is time to add a NEW TOPIC.
Thanks for reading members, remember, don't stop the posting, please bring all you have, we all Luuuuv to read new posting regardless to what is about.
Thanks again Porgy for bringing this up!

Exaclty and that is why I am glad you brought it up. I think it will work. And when it starts to get off hand again, all we have to do is update the "Lets go back to the original rules" link. I am about to copy and paste your original new topic "Can we keep this to credit cards and credit to this thread so that when it is updated they can see both. How does that sound?

Replied by porgy1000 on topic hehehe, I know, I am
hehehe, I know, I am fine. What upset me was the fact that the forums now contain all unrelated topics. I gave up reading most of the forums. I have met some GREAT people on here, like Meya, Pam etc. OK a few bad ones too but I will not talk about that heheheheh.
My only reason to bring all this up was to try and convert the forums back to valuable information that we can ALL USE to better our futures.

No no no, this is old Porgy, this is when I was shortening the quotes and putting posts in the correct thread. I just put them on one thread. I was thinking about deleting them since everyone caught on and slowed completly down on the quotes. No offense buddie, like I said, I was moving them to the right page so that they would not get lost or deleted. As a matter of fact I will delete those, they were only temporary. Thanks for cacthing it!

OK Meya, you got me on that one, however, I was new here back then and I fell into the same situation that others have.
PLEASE lets keep the forums limited to CREDIT CARDS, CREDIT SCORES, ISSUES WITH CREDIT CARDS & lets inform each other as to what our experiences where with specific banks.
If a band did something to you, odds are they will do it to the rest of us. That is why we are all here to share our good and our bad experiences.

Hereyee, Hereyee (Did I spell that right?), [Hammer slams to the table] Ok, seems like we have some good postings going on. I had so much fun with Hjm331 and Porgy1000 last night until I was rolling over in my "executive" chair laughing like crazy. Poor Porgy1000 went to sleep probably after midnight and Hjm331 mom probably snatched the power cord from the computer on him. As for me, my husband said, "when you catch the cramps in your fingers from all that typing, don't look to me for help."
Let's respond to each other in the Lounge when we have normal non financial response to each other. Better than that, we can go to the chat room and just talk all day. We can better respond to each other much faster there and then we would not flood the threads up with conversations that does not reflect the topic. I know the readers who come here to read valuable information probably thing we are a bunch of goof balls, which they would be correct because I can talk and laugh to someone all day.
I have so much fun when I come in here until I feel like I am in AOL's chat rooms. I used to be in there having so much fun until I started school and burnt myself out. In this site, it is more than just financial issues going on, members here are so freindly, are willing to share real world credit experience, and become as one big FG family in no time. This is the type of credit board that I like, not just some site where someone is only there for one thing "Info on a particular card". They have that option in the credit reviews and comments, but there is another side of FG where you could do both, "The Finance Network". That is where I pleaded for a few members to come from, like Porgy1000 for instance. He gives good advice and is so friendly, I did not know that he would blend in with with the "Motor-mouth-crew" Meya, Pamela2, and Hjm331 (Come back Clifton). I know he is probably saying, "What have I involved myself with."
See, here I go again, just running my mouth. I can't help it, I am off premium roast coffee from McDonald's (2 large cups). But like I was saying, let's try to keep our off-topics in the the lounge and start using the chat room. I am not familiar with how you could tell if the chat room is in use because I have never seen it from my side. But when you click the Finance network logo above, it tells you who are all online and then we can send a message telling that person to join in the chat room. So let's start with sending each other invitations to become frieinds, when they accept, we can go from there. I already have you all on my list, so Pamela2, Hjm331, Clifton, and Porgy1000, you guys go ahead and proceed. This will give us good practice to have more chatting when the next meeting comes up.
Ps, cast your votes to the polls so that Mike can have a clearer idea on what day to go with. Thanks for reading and you all have a nice few hours, because that is when I will be back! lmao
If there are no questions, this meeting is dismissed [Slams the Hammer again].
