Coming to think of it, we receive letters in the mail, and I have saw it on our local news about these types of scams. I don't see how they can fall for it. The IRS SO NOT.... I REPEAT...DO NOT , send me anything through email. I did not know that it has gotten as far as the rebate scam, I just knew it was more of the "Government may owe you money scam." That just shows how desperate we are in these times, so I have to agree with you again. I

My pleasure, Meya.
I feel that scam artists are among the lowest of criminals since they often prey on people who desperately need financial help. I want every one to be aware of the tactics these crooks use - maybe one day consumers can become informed enough to put those creeps out of business.
