Being an optomist at heart, I think we will all look back a few years from now when interest rates are back up (of course to partly cover the trillions of dollars in spending now), and wonder why we didn't consider buying a house when rates were so low, plenty of supply was there and we got to chose almost anywhere we wanted to live. It seems that now, there's something affordable in most areas. This wasn't the case in 2005 - 2007...
