Replied by Finance Globe on topic Done... The changes you suggested

Done... The changes you suggested have been made Meya. Thanks once again! As far as the duplicate postings are concerned, I have added restrictions to post no more than 1 per day for a particular card. This should catch 98% of the duplicate postings, and not interfere with anything else.

All of the pages should now refresh, and not cached in a browser.

I also added bold text to the more info links, so people will know what to do next, as well as adding review options on the details pages.

Thanks again, and waiting for more feedback! :sleepy:

If you are on the "averages" page, it will sort all cards by the last "new card" that was posted by default. Now if you go a step down, and look at the postings for that card, the newest are on top by default

Got it
I can make the page refresh (no cache), so this doesn't happen, and only shows the latest changes/additions.
I clearly understand!

I decided to allow duplicate entries, so this program will serve applicants that applied more than once. However, I can work on accidental triggering of duplicate entries.

Sounds good to me

Right on Mike, I knew you can see where I went wrong when I posted this. Still in all, I may not be an IT (or whatever those technology words are), I only went as far as Microsoft Office, and visual basics. I love your style, keep it up!
] Ok there is almost 1k members here, is there anyone else here trying to solve a problem with this issue? Please say it now because Mike has worked so hard to make it happen for us. There is no wrong incidents nor wrong suggestions, spill it out regardless to what YOU think it may sound like. You are all tying to make this network be the best that it can be, or sould I speak from my own opinion, make it the best ever!

Come on members let's think of something. I believe this credit pull will be the best of them all.

Replied by Finance Globe on topic Ok, I think I know

Ok, I think I know what is wrong, I dont think that we are having a problem, it is just that when you add a credit card to the pulls, you will not see it pop up on the first line, and you will not see it when you go back to view all applications. the reason why is because someone already put it in the database and the only way for you to see it is if you go and look for the card itself, click on how many people applied, and then you will see your name and info you put in.

If you are on the "averages" page, it will sort all cards by the last "new card" that was posted by default. Now if you go a step down, and look at the postings for that card, the newest are on top by default.

Two other issues, when you update the card you previously posted, the only way I can see changes is if I click "More info", it tends to keep the previous info in the main page, so maybe when you are finished up, you could add that to the "about this program" list. Next, when you click, "view what I just posted" it will only show you the new card you just posted, not the changes you have just made. I was hoping to get the "UNKNOWN" sections out of the previous cards that did not show up when I posted it. Maybe you could look at that too.

1. I can make the page refresh (no cache), so this doesn't happen, and only shows the latest changes/additions.
2. I didn't think about that one. I will get that changed!

My name went through just fine and so did the other info. I see that it will allow you to put a duplicate in because I seen that I already done so previously.
Do you think that there should be a way that a person can not add a duplicate, but will be allowed to edit? How about when they accidentally add the same card twice something will pop up and say "You have already submitted your status to this card, if you would like to edit any changes, please select the edit button."
You can take out the duplicate to Target I will go with the newest one since it looks like it is functioning better. If I have any questions, I will come back.

Thanks for your excellent feedback Meya! I will get to the keyboard! :fun:

Replied by Finance Globe on topic This program is nearly out

This program is nearly out of testing and I am looking for some feedback. I think that this program will help nearly everyone that uses it, and I really want to make sure that it's easy to use and understand. Furthermore, if you have encountered any problems or errors, please, please, please let me know. I already fixed a couple of issues, so postings that did not show up should work now.

Replied by Finance Globe on topic Hi Meya, I think that

Hi Meya, I think that I am going to leave it how it is on the average page as the entry page. I am going to add search functionality to all of the pages at the top. I just haven't decided which one to use as the default. As far as searching for posts, this is what I have so far: https://www.financeglobe.com/Finance/statussearch.shtml

Replied by Meya on topic One question, when members begin

One question, when members begin to start loading all the posts, is the credit pulls page going to look like the forums Page 1 2 3....? Or is it going to have a drop down list to select from? Ie, if somone wanted to apply for a particular card, lets say BofA platinum, they can type in (or select current card selection) the card name and then see all approvals or denials for that particular card.

I am not adding any new suggestion, I was just curious about how it is going to look. Or should i just say that I am nosey and anxious. Ok, just say "Meya, be quiet and wait!"

Replied by Finance Globe on topic RivasGlo, as I understand: You

RivasGlo, as I understand: You want to be able to add your credit status, without knowing your credit score at the time of your application.

This program was made for people that know their credit score now, and want to find cards that they may qualify for. Without the scores, this would not help them.

Thanks for your thoughts!

1. Orchard Visa....test
2. Orchard Classic Mastercard (with test in the comment box) it has a duplicate

Walmart came out blank (like orchard did yesterday). The others are not adding to the view all posts.

Fg you know that I am not in a hurry about this new design you created. I don't care how long it takes, regardless, I will get them in there one day.

Replied by Finance Globe on topic When you click to view

When you click to view the "Credit Card Status Averages" page... And then click on the # of people applied... it says "Houehold Income".... The "s" is missing.... Just a minor detail.

The misspelling is now fixed. Thanks for pointing this out!
