Chase takes way too long to make a decision on their applications. That's been the story for my friend's application for a Chase student card.

haha okay,
Well here's my application status as of today:

Chase Continental Mastercard: Application is being reviewed
Lexus Visa Signature: Application takes 2 weeks to process...
Bank of America: I called in to upgrade to regular card since I have good credit and banking relationship with BoA, took application over the phone and was asked to call back in a week..

Keep us posted about the results in the credit card review area. If you so happen to get bad news from them, slow down on the apps and work with what you already have.:fun:

I was just showing an emotion to the cards you are looking into, sure you wanna start all the hard pulls. I would hold on, and take hjm advise.

The cards you listed above seem like luxuries, not needs. You already have the cards you need to build credit. I would stick with them and make sure they develop and report a positive payment history for the next 12-24 months.

Yeah ahhaha I want one or two more, I am in researching for the following:

Lexus Financial Services VISA (Good for future Lexus purchase)
Merrill Lynch Visa (high credit line available)
Chase Mastercard (Not Sure but i like the card)

I'm waiting on Citibank to response back to my letter, see if they can offer me an account.

It sounds like you already have all the cards you need. I would just focus on those cards for right now and apply for another card in about 6 to 12 months.
