It's worth a shot since you used the inquiry. I just think we all need to take a break from applying right now, all these creditors are acting strange lately.
That they sure are.....
Thanks for the letter Meya, I am going to add it to my file of letters (for those creditors that won't let you speak to someone else for a recon.....)....

You don't really need a formal letter in order for lenders to re-consider your application. Usually, you can call and ask to speak to a credit analyst or underwriter and you can talk to them directly about what's on your credit report and what you are doing to improve your credit.
I agree, and that way you get a live person who can make a decision instead of just a computer generated model.

To Whom It May Concern] credit card, but unfortunately I was denied. This is also my first time in my life I ever got denied for any type of credit, so I was very shock to find out about this decision.
While I was reading “the reason(s) for not approving your request":
• Based on the credit report from Equifax for my name, there have been too many recent inquiries
- I pull my credit report on March 14, 2011, right after Capital One denied me, and here what I find; during the last 12 months (1 year) I have total of 6 inquiries, but only 3 its for credit purpose, and consider 2 its for applying a credit card for my business, the last time I applied for credit for personal purpose its on 07/02/xxxx. To me that’s not a lot of inquiries.
• Based on the credit report from Experian for my name, revolving account balance(s) are too low
- Could you explain this to me? I though if your balance on your credit card(s) are low, that’s a good thing. Because you would have low credit utilization, which that will improve your credit score.
• Based on the credit report from Equifax for my name, new account balance(s) are too low
- I am not clear about what your version of “new account” means? I haven’t open any new credit card account or any other type of credit account for over an year now. But even if this were truth, as I already said above that I thought if your balance on your credit card(s) are low, that’s a good thing. Because you would have low credit utilization, which that will improve your credit score.
• Based on the credit report from Trans Union for my name, applicant is not a homeowner
- Again can you explain this to me? You would need a house in order to get a credit card from [[/quote]? To me this is ridiculous! And very unfair!
While I was checking my credit report, I also check my credit score on March 14, 2011, and here what I find]. If you need to contact me, you can reach me at XXX-XXX-XXXX or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
