I doubt it, I expect to see CLI's like clockwork every 6 months. I heavily use the card and make payments so they're making plenty of profit off the charges I make.

Well, I use my card a lot and it would be nice to see CLI's here and there.
I hear you, I just wonder if you will get more if they do it automatically.

Yeah, I wonder how big of a CLI they will give me on a good day. I am going to ask for another 1.5k in June when my account becomes two years old which would bring my CL to $5k.
Its been my experience to let them do things on their own. Kind of like Discover. Like in 2007 I used my BofA only once for a $100 brake job and bam, $1000 CLI, then I think this year I used one of those checks they send out for $1,000 and I got a $3K CLI.
Okay, so I've never really *asked* for a CLI except when the account was first opened (before MBNA merger). But I have received some decent CLI's by just using the card and sitting tight.

Yeah, I was thinking of that too but I wanted in with them ASAP because I will be buying a car in 2-3 years and I wanted to have some history with them so I can get approved for a sweet interest rate.
What? You just bought a new car didn't you?

I believe you might just get it. Especially if some of this credit issues quiet down some.

I hope so, I still can't believe they gave me a $1,500 CLI this month.

Naaah, I don't think they are going to get down like most of them. You should be cool.

Well this morning the news said that banks should be able to start easing off of us because since all this bail out money is being distributed, banks should give their customers breaks from it. They are cracking down on complete elimination of universal default rate, double billing cycles, and jacking up intr rates for no reason at all. This has become a world wide issue and it is horrible to see it happen to those who has been with them for years.
I put myself in their shoes, look at me, I have damaged my credit and bounced back. Some of the cards I have now, I only had since 5 years or so, now think about a person who has the same card I do and have been with them for years and never was late, pay well...etc, and now the bank has dropped their limits, closed the account, or raised their APR for no reason at all, and I am still sitting here not touched. That is wrong! Not saying that I can not be next, but because of who they selected to mess with is what makes me mad.
