Well let's just say when I applied for the CFNA account (Tires Plus Account) I was approved with a $900.00 CL. Beacon scores were probably around 600.00 I was elated, I could now purchase some tires, 6 months interest free. It's a heck of a deal. I paid the balance in full before the 6 months was up. I check all my credit accounts monthly to make sure they're reporting the correct balances, and to my surprise they bumped my CL up to $2200. My scores hover around a 670 now. Thanks CFNA, you make my ratios look great.

Wal-Mart Discover increased from $1800.00 to $3,300.00!

I checked my wifes Discover card on Sunday and seen an auto increase of $500. Now CL went from 2500 to 3000. Thank you discover. We had the card since July-12.

Premier One (CreditBuilder Card) 2006 $300. $100 increase in 2009 and 2010. (both times they increased rate when I called to cxl card)This is a credit builder card and not worth much more than that. Paypal Buyers Credit 2008 $500 2009 $750 2010 $1000 2011 $2000 These were automatic I never had to ask.
Walmart Discover 2009 $1400 2012 $1900 This was automatic. I did ask in 2011 but was denied for increase
Capital One 2011 $500 auto increase to $750 same year. I had scores in the upper 500’s in 2006 I have scores in mid to upper 700’s now.

Does anyone have a US Bank Credit Card? What is your experience with CLI Requests? I have a CC with US Bank and was wondering how they work, etc. I also have my mortgage with them. So far thats been okay.

Thank you hjm331, No its not the Hooters card and its not around anymore. This card is called Double Your Line Visa. Which basically you get an invitation and a set of terms( AF, APR and ect.) and pay the minmum payment and stay under the CL. Also what ever CL they approve you, you get double the amount. I got approved for $1100 and it got doubled to $2200.

Happy to report that my Merrick turned 7 months on 3-7 and got an increase of $1100.00 as part of terms when I signed up with them in Sept-12. New CL $2200. Also I deleted 3 Charge Offs and 1 late-payment home loan completely off my report. Cap One, Chase, Credit One were the CO. I got BOA only to go on TU.

I posted this in Nov- I just noticed JCPenny's increased my limit from $1200 to $2000. Also Amazon went from $1200 to $1300. I didnt request either increase. I have ZERO balance on JPC and about $100 on Amazon I wish Discover and Chase were as generous. I have balances on both.


My Walmart card is up to $1700. JCPenny is at $2100. Amazon is at $1700. All GE Cards. Still nothing from Discover and Chase.

Had Marathon credit card for six months, starting at $300.....current statement reflects a CL of $650.......automatic increase.

Carried near limit balance too. not good but its going down.

First National Bank of Omaha increased my FNBO Discover Co-Branded Card credit limit to $10,350. Not too shabby for my first six months.
