honeyb - I found college to be more work than working. Hope the economy turns around soon for jobs. As an aside, the "baby boomers" will retire in the next two years which should be creating opennings!
Wanderer - Yes, it is work but well worth it especially in this economy you need a degree just to be invited to play in the game. My next step is certifications and then MBA. As for the baby boomers they are still young and energized, some may retire but most still got that fire in them.
We will have to wait and see on that one!

Im out for the summer.I was taking last semester (fall) criminal law courses online, hard to teach myself criminal law so this past semester I went for Business classes.I was able to kill "two birds with one stone" so to speak because I was able to take 2 Real Estate courses.I took Real Estate Finance (B+) Principles of Real Estate (B+) Business Math (A) & American History II (A).
Now that Ive taken & passed 2 Real Estate courses,I can now go & take the given Real Estate test & at least get my Real Estate license right now.Im going to take Real Estate Appraisal next semester & I'll be done with Real Estate courses. Its been rough working 50 hours a week(truck driver),with 2 kids,a significant other all to juggle in one weeks time, week after freaking week, when after you think about it,its not high school, you can quit & your parents wont go to jail.I must have quit school 2 dozen times last semester & this semester.But....I survived.
Im 33,if I can do it,anybody can.

That's too much, one will have to go. If you hate math, you better get ready for it in accounting . I think that business management would be better for you since you are basically more in to entrepreneur. Get a certificate in accounting while you are completing your business degree. Here is an easy way out. See if the college offers certificates for accounting and if any of those classes are prereq's for your degree courses if so, complete them while obtaining your degree and you can go out and look for a job in accounting while attending school. If this sounds weird let me repeat it...lol
OK, this is a course evaluation for a BA (without general electives)
MATH-20 09/SP
MATH-20 Y 08/FA
MKT-100 C1 PRINCIPLES OF MARKETING 08/SC
MATH-10 08/SP

Sorry so large but it was copied and pasted.....
Ok, now to get a certificate in accounting, lets pretend that all you needed was to compete the classes highlighted in red (this is just an example), so what you would do is complete those classes first, so that you can get a certificate in accounting while completing your BA in Management. Does this sounds a little better? I hope so, but at the same time, I do want you to go for it bro, you are still young and able. Ole dusty minds like mines is hard to get through...lol. It is worser when your brain is being tampered with from lecture in elementary, I had to call my nephew in to ask him a few questions to help me out. I swear to God, but I forgot all about comma splices ( and when to use it, and let's not for get about when to add apostrophe s('s) or s apostrophe(s') or not to add one at all

I'm on my way to college. I submitted my application for admission last night and I'm going to go to the campus tomorrow morning to schedule an appointment with a counselor to talk about my classes and major. I have a long road ahead of way but I know it will be worth it down the road.
I want to take classes for two majors: Business Management and Accounting
What do you guys think?

Waaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhoooooooooooooo! Copied and pasted baaaabbbbaaaaayyyy!MATH-20-SF1 INTERMEDIATE ALGEBRA B+ 3.00
I am so happy that this class is over and I am out for the summer. One class left and it is ooooveeeerrr! Yeeesssss! Now I really want to go to the Dean of affairs and show him what I meant was serious. There is no way I can have straight A's and B's with a F in math. Then turn right around and repeat the class with a B+. This should show them that I have some type of truth to my story, and that the last instructor is not lecturing students correctly (if at all).
Well I am going to just take my break and relax. Hey Kmoney, Charon, and everyone else who is in college, are you all taking a summer break, or are you going to register for summer? I'm not, it is a headache...lol

I always sell my textbooks on half.com, or ebay.com, or amazon marketplace
Our bookstore on campus got sold out to Barnes and Noble...now everything is sky high. I always buy online.
