At any rate the man who owned the home owned several other pieces of property, went bankrupt and my son lost every penny he had paid on the house. Somewhere around $10,000. Do a thorough check on your mortgage holder before you venture into this.

Does anyone here know what are acceptable interest percentage rates for an owner-financed home? I found one that might be a good investment and I can't get a loan from standard companies because it is a modified mobile home. Anyone have thoughts?
