danny's review: I became a bloomies card holder late last year. I went online and was approved but no credit limit was shown. I called customer service and they advised I was approved for $200 but with some questions answered I can get a card with a $400 limit. I answered the questions to confirm my identity and Walla was approved for $400. I went ahead and made some purchases when I got the card and paid in full for a couple of months. I called customer service again to see about a CLI early this year and the rep advised he was not sure if it will go through but he will check. I was approved for another $200 so that brought my limit to $600. I left my card alone for about 6 months now and just pulled my credit reports for just a regular review and make sure everything is accurate. Well I noticed Bloomingdales increased my credit line to $2500!!! My highest credit limit ever. I didn't even ask for another increase and had bought nothing since the $600 limit was granted. I guess they are wanting me to start shopping again. I just may start doing so since the holiday season before you know it, is upon us again. Thanks Bloomies!!!

I received an auto-CLI on my Macy's card last month after not using for 4-5 months. I checked my reports saw my limit increase from $800 to $2,000. It was a great feeling, congrats.

The same thing happened to me with my Kohl's account... Hadn't used it for awhile and the next thing I knew my cl had increased from $1,000 to $1,500. Got to love those automatic increases!
