Got an ebay mastercard with a initial $1500 credit line. 3 months later they drop the credit limit to $320 with no explanation. Call to find out why and they are unable to tell me. Say that a letter has been mailed to me with explanation.

It is a sign of the times! The lender for this card has experienced serious challenges in today's market place. That being said, it is reported around that the lender either closes the account or reduces the credit limit. Hard to not take it personal but there are lots of folks with the same situation. The lender issued many retail store cards and we know where retail is generally at today. My suggestion is to let retail store based cards chill for the near future.
