I've had a chase card every since they bought my Washington mutual card back in 2007 or 2008. Recently I was receiving offers to open a bank account. So I went to a branch opened a checking since it had a really good cash promotion($300). I was also advised I was pre approved for the freedom card so I chose the unlimited 1.5% instead of the categories. Approved for a $4000 limit. I received about $175 in bonus cash already after recently meeting the spend requirements. I allocated some of my Chase slate limit to the freedom since I won't be using the other at all. Very happy with chase and the app is great also.
