I had a charge off with AMEX in 1997. I thought I would be "blacklisted" forever! Got invite for Green card, and went with Zync instead! The account auto backdated to 1997, adding 14+ years to my credit history. I was offered $25 AF, and no preset spending limit. Great customer service. People should know that rewards earned on the Zync card have a lower (payback) value than, the other CHARGE products AMEX offers. However, the AF on those cards are much higher.
